Italy’s new Minister of Foreign Affairs is Paolo Gentiloni

He will replace Federica Mogherini which takes office this week as European Union’s new top diplomat 59-year-old Gentiloni who served as communications minister in Romano Prodi’s government from 2006 to 2008 was chosen from the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi for the position of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. His nomination comes as a surprise because he had not been mentioned as a potential candidate in recent weeks. He will take his oath later today. According to reports originally Renzi had wanted to replace Mogherini with another woman and until late last night was no indication of his decision.

Iraqis were preparing an attack in Europe on behalf of the Islamic State

They are being held by Swiss authorities since March Three Iraqi citizens are being held by the Swiss authorities since last May accused for planning an attack in Europe on behalf of the Islamic State. The announcement for their arrest was made today, while the Swish government stressed their cooperation with many countries mainly US for the case. Back in September German speaking and Swish press has made reports referring to the case, but the Swish authorities had denied to make any comments. The official announcement was delayed, in case the investigation results in Switcherland and abroad were jeopardize. The three Iraqis are still being held in different jails of the canton of Bern, as the investigation has not been completed . However , they have not been charged yet. A circular was sent to all Metropolises to inform all the faithful – ” Church does not accept cremation ” Through a circular which was sent to all Metropolises the Sacred Synod informs that the Church will not conduct funeral ceremonies and memorials to those who have proven and voluntarily declared their desire to burn their bodies. The whole circular is published and available to all in the church of Greece website and states that:” ” Church does not accept cremation “. According to “Liberation” the express-test can detect the virus in less than 15 minutes and tests will begin in November in patients in Guinea, while the results of clinical trials will be given in the coming weeks.
